I don't believe we have!
I just saw a replay of an NBC newscast where it was announced that the CT shooter did not use an AR-15, as it was found in his car later, and that 4 pistols were found inside the school. I also read that the guns used belonged to the shooters mother. The mother knew her son had a problem & allowed him access.
In the meantime, the politicians have rushed to push laws through that have not been adequately researched nor have they gone through the proper procedure such as adhering to our U.S. Constitution. I understand that the president, by 23 Executive Orders, issued gun control laws. I have not read them, but this is outrageous! Things like this are to be decided by Congress. Where are our reps??
New York's Governor Cuomo also issued new laws which I have not read, however, again this should be up to the State Legislature, not one person.
There are more gun laws on the books than one can comprehend. These laws will only hurt the law abiding and will do nothing to stop the bad people as they will do anything to get guns, knives, hand grenades, etc.
In Australia since gun control was enacted, crime of every type has increased. The goal of every would be dictator, is to disarm the citizens.
